Established in 1999, Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) is the apex body of private real estate developers with a vision of transforming the landscape of Indian Real Estate industry with a singular objective to pursue the cause of Housing and Habitat.
Since then, our membership has grown to more than 20000 members spread across 21 States and 220 City chapters. Today, we are a recognized partner for the government and are represented on several committees working at policy formulations and various committees of the Government. CREDAI has successfully contributed to the GDP of India and has become the backbone of Indian Real Estate.
We have been in communication with Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Niti Aayog and many other bodies to provide balanced and integrated industry viewpoint and response on critical aspects of policies, regulations and developments related to real estate sector.
Working closely with all stakeholders including the government representatives, policy makers, investors, finance companies, consumers, and real estate professionals, we have developed a holistic vision for the industry, helping us to arrive at common understanding through meetings, conferences and other events for a favourable policy climate for real estate development.
CREDAI strives to make the Real Estate industry more organized and progressive through continuous research, learning, dialogues and discussions. CREDAI’s code of conduct promotes ethical practices and is adopted proactively by all its members so as to make a conscious effort to bring transparency and protect the interest of homebuyers.
